If I choose to continue to use the Internet Modem (IM) Server, can I get a "break" on the costs?

Since DoorKing is basing their fees on the usage of the modem, the discounts for the ongoing service is "built-in" to this basic rate structure. Over the near term, DoorKing is offering an "Early Activation Discount" to encourage customers to activate and provide billing information prior to the Jan 1st deadline.

• Activate prior to October 31st and all January, February and March data transfers, regardless of size, are free.
• Activate between Nov 1st – Dec 31st and all January and February data transfers, regardless of size, are free.
• Activations after Jan 1st will receive 30 days of free data transfers, regardless of size, from date of first data transfer.

Take advantage of this discount and avoid service disruptions by registering and activating your system(s) as soon as possible.

How can I avoid this fee?

To avoid paying this fee, you will need to switch the communication method you are using with your telephone entry unit or access control panel. DoorKing's Remote Account Manager software and 1830 series telephone units/access controllers offers several "free" methods for programming the units - you can connect via a telephone modem, over a local area network (LAN or WAN) or by directly connecting a computer to the unit - but they may require the purchase of additional hardware. I am a property manager and program systems for multiple properties. How can I determine how much each individual property's data transfers cost?

The fee is charged for each "account" you list in your registration; if you list three accounts (properties), you will be charged a separate subscription fee for each property based on the fee schedule above. For example:

• You list three accounts/properties under your registration - Hidden Ranch with a 500 resident /vendor capacity, Round Tree Pines with a 100 resident/vendor capacity and Poker Bluffs with a 250 resident/vendor capacity.
• The MAXIMUM monthly billing per account would be $5.95 for Hidden Ranch, $1.95 for Round Tree Pines and $3.95 for Poker Bluffs for a total MAXIMUM billing of $11.85 per month to you.
• Your bill would be "itemized" to show the amount billed for each account.
• Remember that the actual monthly billing would be based upon actual number of names transferred by each account, not upon the account size.

Accounts will be billed monthly subscription rate until the are “removed” from the Listed Systems page.
